The Swiss luxury watch brand Rolex is going to invest about 1 billion CHF in a new factory in Switzerland. The plant will replace Bulle and will employ 2000 people. Rolex plans to close a deal next month for the purchase of land for the new facility to be commissioned in 2029.

With the new factory, Rolex is responding to the strong demand for its expensive watches. Rolex would make around a million watches annually, accounting for an annual turnover of around 8 billion euros.
