The large contract that foundation specialist SIF has received in the United States is good news for the company. ING reported this in a response to the announcement. SIF has been commissioned to produce 84 monopiles for the Vineyard offshore wind farm, which is the first wind farm off the US coast. Vineyard wind farm is 20 kilometers off the coast of the American Martha’s Vineyard in the state of Massachusetts. The wind farm will soon be good for a capacity of 800 megawatts. The piles will be put on transport next year and in 2021. No financial details were reported. ING states that with this “significant” new assignment, Sif improves its forecasts for 2020 and that the company has also won its first major offshore project outside of Europe. The advice is on hold, with a target price of 10.50 euros. The Sif share recorded a plus of 13 percent on 11.48 euros on Monday around 9.40 am.
