Life Jamie Spears cleared of child abuse Posted on September 18, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Jamie Spears, Britney’s father, can feel relieved now that he has been told not to be prosecuted for abusing her 13-year-old son Sean. He was accused of this by Kevin Federline, the singer’s former husband. According to the Prosecutor of Ventura County, there was too little evidence to prosecute Jamie, TMZ reports. Kevin claimed that Jamie grabbed his grandson very roughly during an argument and reported this to the police. An investigation was started by the Public Prosecutor. Since then, things have changed between Britney and her father, because at the time of the investigation he announced that he would resign temporarily as his daughter’s curator. The task of making financial and medical decisions for Britney is now in the hands of her ‘care manager’ Jodi Montgomery until at least January 2020. Jamie would have given up his struggling health to resign temporarily, but sources say that Federline had demanded a prohibition against his former father-in-law to keep him away from the children. This made it impossible to continue to look after Britney’s affairs.
