The 91-year-old Hollywood veteran walked into his Venice neighborhood on Friday night when he was hit by a car and crashed, after which he was hit by a second car, US media report. Orson Bean played the role of Dr. Lester in the film Being John Malkovich, but is also known for his role in Desperate Housewives. In the 70s he presented game shows such as To Tell the Truth, Match Game and Super Password. He also appeared more than two hundred times in The Tonight Show by Johnny Carson. TMZ reports in an update that the drivers who were involved in the accident were not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
