The authorities initially announced that the victim had been injured, but that turned out to be not so bad. News channel BFM TV, which relies on a source within the police, reports that the perpetrator attacked the occupants of a police car. The attacker opened a car door and started stabbing. One of the officers in the car would then have opened fire. The perpetrator is believed to have sustained life-threatening injuries and has been transferred to the hospital.
