The 75-year-old dancer, choreographer and actor had to cancel all performances due to disappointing ticket sales, he announced on Friday. From next month Barrie Stevens would actually travel to 35 theaters throughout the Netherlands, but the interest in the shows was too small. Visitors are informed and can get the money back for the tickets. In The Show Must Go On, Stevens would speak frankly about his life and career. Among other things, the dancer would tell frankly about his loves, including Leen Jongewaard, and all the highs and lows in the more than half century that he now lives in the Netherlands. He also planned to look back on his breakthrough in the sixties thanks to hit series Yes sister No sister of Annie M.G. Schmidt and Harry Bannink.
