Life Better Late Then Never might make a comeback Posted on September 18, 2019 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Barrie Stevens (75), Peter Faber (75), Willibrord Frequin (78) and Gerard Cox (79) may return to Better late than never. Earlier this summer it was announced that RTL wanted to make the travel program again, but with a new cast. According to De Telegraaf, the big shoes of the foursome are difficult to fill. The possible restart with the famous four is partly due to a chance meeting between Peter Faber and RTL program director Peter van der Vorst. The two met at Schiphol, where Faber was about to go on holiday. “He asked if I wanted to discuss a new season with him and the other three,” the actor says in the newspaper about his meeting with Peter. The foursome does listen to a new season, which, according to the newspaper, would be shot during two trips, possibly to Africa and/or South America. The only problem: the full agendas of the gentlemen. Gerard and Barrie in particular are busy, so filming may only take place in the first week of February. “It will still be a bit of a puzzle, but Peter and Willibrord can do it anyway”, an initiate tells the newspaper. RTL informs De Telegraaf that it has not yet made a decision about the participants in the program, which was a reasonable success for the channel last year. Then the four gentlemen went on a trip to Southeast Asia.
