He did that for a Jeep commercial, which was broadcast around the Super Bowl in America. In the film Bill Murray plays a cynical journalist who has to report on the forest marmot ceremony in the village of Punxsutawney. But due to a bizarre twist of fate, he gets stuck on February 2 and experiences the day he hates so much every day. The commercial shows that Murray is still stuck in time, but he discovers a Jeep he had never seen before. Murray’s brother Brian Doyle-Murray and Stephen Tobolowsky also play a role in the advertising, which quickly went viral on the internet. They were also shown in the original film. Around the annual broadcast of the American Football final, companies spend millions on advertisements.
