Johnston (now 50 years old) tells her story on Monday against the website Buzzfeed. She has filed a complaint with the Vancouver police. Hutton, who won an Oscar for his role in Ordinary People in the early 1980s, denies the allegations through his spokesperson. The incident was reported to have taken place in Vancour, where Hutton was at the time for recording the film Iceman. The actor is said to have invited her for a drink in his hotel room. Once there, he would have led the teenager to his bed. When Johnston clearly indicated that she wanted to leave, she said Hutton said that “it would be okay and not long,” she said in conversation with Buzzfeed. The Oscar winner would then have undressed her “almost like a doll”. A friend of his was present. During these actions, the 14-year-old said continuously that she did not want this. Afterwards, Hutton violated her while his friend watched. “It was terrible and extremely painful,” the former model states in the interview. Hutton would have offered her a financial arrangement after filing the complaint, but she rejected this option.
