He died unexpectedly at the age of 25. Cause is unknown. Coleman is best known for his role as Eric Brown in the 2005 film Nanny McPhee, in which he played one of the children of the character of Colin Firth at the age of ten. Emma Thompson played the title role as a kindergarten teacher. Coleman later appeared in films such as It’s Alive and The Fourth Kind. At the Brussels Short Film Festival he was awarded the best male role in 2010. After his short acting career, Coleman was primarily active as a climate activist. His mother writes on Twitter: Rest in peace, my beloved son Raphael Coleman, aka Iggy Fox. He died while doing what he loved: working for the most noble cause of all. His family couldn’t have been more proud. Let’s celebrate everything he has achieved in his short life and honor his legacy.
