French police killed terrorist copycat

The perpetrator attacked random passers-by in a park with a knife around 2 p.m. There are reportedly several injured cases, one of whom is said to have died in the meantime. Two others are injured, writes the French news channel BFMTV. There would also be one or more agents among the wounded.

According to local media, the perpetrator was eliminated after a brief chase. He is said to have been hit by three police bullets. Witnesses reported that the man was wearing a (false) bomb belt. Media reports that terrorist was a mentally unstable Islamic convert identified as Nathan C. He was 22 years old.

The Paris police informed on Friday afternoon on Twitter that an intervention is underway and asked to avoid the environment. All entrances to the park were closed and the mine clearance service was also on site.
