BBC Studios reports this on its website. The documentary is not only about her meetings with climate scientists, but also follows the journey to adulthood of the 17-year-old activist. “She’s an icon” The BBC Studio’s Science Unit, the scientific branch of the broadcaster, calls climate change one of the most important themes of our time. The head of the studio, Rob Liddell, thinks it is a privilege to work with Greta. “She is an icon and one of the best known faces on this planet.” Greta became known in 2018 for her school strike for climate change outside the Swedish parliament. A year later, she announced that she would take a year off from school to talk about climate change worldwide. She sailed across the Atlantic to speak at the United Nations in New York, and was at the World Economic Forum in Davos last month.
