His lawyer Donna Rotunno will give her closing pleadings on Thursday, where prosecutor Joan Illuzi will speak on Friday. A jury then judges on Tuesday whether Weinstein is found guilty or not. The 67-year-old Weinstein is accused by two women of raping them. According to his lawyer, that is not the case and it was about voluntary sex they had with the producer. Because the defense believes that insufficient evidence has been provided against Weinstein, they did not call witnesses either. The jury consists of 7 men and 5 women, who, after the American holiday President’s Day, will examine Weinstein’s fate. The case started on January 6.
