You deserve better.” Bette Midler stated on Twitter: “Donald Trump really thinks he, and he alone, is above the law.” Ava DuVernay shared a photo of the Emmy’s last Sunday, where she took the ‘Central Park Five’. The men, the subject of her mini-series When They See Us, were wrongly convicted of rape in the late 1980s. Before their trial, Donald Trump bought a full-page advertisement in four newspapers asking for the death penalty for the suspects, then teenagers.
