Even now, she was arrested by the police, various American media report. Jane was arrested together with sixteen other protesters. Among them was actor Sam Waterston, with whom Fonda can be seen in the Netflix series Grace and Frankie. A video shows how the actors are buoyed and taken away on the stairs in front of the government building. Last Friday, Fonda, who recently moved to Washington especially for the weekly demonstrations, came into contact with the police at the same location. At the time, she announced that she wanted to be present at as many climate rallies as possible in order to draw attention to climate change in this way. The 81-year-old actress takes it for granted that she is arrested.
