Jimmy Fallon missed a date with Kate Hudson

Jimmy Fallon (45) could have dated Kate Hudson (41) twenty years ago. The actress told the presenter in his own talk show ‘The Tonight Show’. “If you made a move, I would have gone for you,” said Kate.

The duo, who talked to each other via a video connection, reminisced about the time, now about twenty years ago, that they worked together on the film Almost Famous. Both Jimmy and Kate thought it was a great time when they laughed a lot and became real friends.

Kate reminded Jimmy of an excerpt from his show two years ago. In it he was asked which colleague he could have dated but nevertheless did not. Jimmy called Kate. “You had to know how I felt when I saw that,” she told her former colleague. “You didn’t give me an indication at all.” The talk show host objected that they were good friends and worked well together. “If you made a move, I would have gone for you,” said Kate.

After talking back and forth about the date that never happened, both Jimmy and Kate came to the conclusion that it all worked out. Jimmy still had the last word. “I once asked you if you had something to do in the evening,” he recalled. “Then you said you had a date.” According to Jimmy, that date was with Chris Robinson. Kate married him. She is now separated from Chris and has a relationship with Danny Fujikawa. Jimmy has two daughters together with Nancy Juvonen.
