In the play the story is told from the point of view of the famous glove of the King of Pop. According to the makers, the musical is “a glimpse into the working of the strange powers that formed Michael and the scandals that destroyed his reputation”. The talking and dancing glove is, according to the New York Post, assisted in the play by actors and puppets who have to present the Jackson 5 and chimpanzee Bubbles, among others. The musical should start in Los Angeles at the end of January. It is not clear whether Johnny is personally involved with the play.
