Justin Timberlake and SZA join forces for Trolls single

Justin Timberlake and singer SZA released their new single and video The Other Side on Wednesday. It is the first single from the soundtrack of the upcoming new movie Trolls World Tour, the sequel to the successful animation film Trolls from 2016. Trolls World Tour will premiere in Dutch cinemas on April 22. The soundtrack will be released on 13 March.

The Other Side was specially written for the film by Justin Timberlake and singer-songwriter SZA, reports Sony Music.

The energetic video from The Other Side, in which we see SZA and Justin dancing through a fisheye lens, is an ode to the hip-hop clips from the 90s. For that, according to the American singer, many creative professionals from different genres and disciplines have been brought together. “Creating something that serves the film, while being separate from it, was a fun challenge that was made even more exciting by working with the other great artists who helped us put it together,” Justin says about the single and video.
