Lady Gaga announces release date of new album

Lady Gaga (33) will release her new single Stupid Love on Friday. The singer announces this on social media. The new song is a precursor to her sixth studio album.

Lady Gaga posted a photo of a billboard on Instagram on Tuesday with the title of her new single and a picture of neon pink lips. In the caption the singer makes it clear to her more than 39 million followers that the new single will be released on Friday when it is midnight in New York, so at 6:00 am Dutch time.

Fans of Lady Gaga, the so-called Little Monsters, have been speculating on social media for months about the arrival of her sixth album. Lady Gaga last released an album in 2016: Joanne. After that she made a furore with her role in the hit film A Star is Born. The soundtrack, with hits like Shallow and Always Remember Us This Way, also became a big hit. Among other things, the singer won an Oscar for best song with Shallow.
