For a long time it seemed that the film would become the best-earning film ever, but in the end it didn’t knock Avatar off the throne. In an attempt to squeeze some extra money, Disney and Marvel therefore had a brilliant solution: simply re-release the film. Of course they made sure that this version was just that little bit different, to get the people who already saw him (several times) into the cinema again. It would be an alternative version with about seven minutes of extra footage. For a three-hour film, of course, that is pretty little. Mark Ruffalo, however, shared a comical reason via Twitter to persuade people to come to the cinema again. Via Twitter he shared two set photos of Chris Hemsworth in his fat suit, which he wore to play a thick version of Thor. “Reason 1 of 3000 to watch Avengers: Endgame again in the cinema this weekend,” he said as caption of the photos. Presumably a part of the female audience would rather have gone to the cinema for Hemsworth if he didn’t wear a fat suit.
