Fox (58) Returns in his role of lawyer Louis Canning. The actor played the character in The Good Wife series, and will now play counsel in a number of episodes of The Good Fight. The makers of the series announced this on Sunday. The actor is not the only old acquaintance from The Good Wife to be seen in the third season of The Good Fight. Zach Grenier, who played David Lee in the original, will also be appearing in the lawyer series next season. Seven seasons were made of The Good Wife, with Julianna Margulies in the lead, between 2009 and 2016. A year after the end of the series, makers Robert and Michelle King came up with The Good Fight, in which characters Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) and Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) started working at another, predominantly African-American, law firm.
