The girl, who was born exactly a week ago after a heavy birth, was given the name Saoirse Reign Carter. Nick also shared a new photo of the baby via Instagram, showing the face this time. “To my incredibly strong wife,” writes the Backstreet Boys singer with a photo taken shortly after the birth of Saoirse. On the snapshot he kisses his wife’s forehead, while she holds their child to the breast. In the post, Nick looks back on the pregnancy and “the hope that we could experience this moment with a little help from above”. “I just want to thank you for giving me the life, love, and family I’ve always longed for.” Saoirse is the second child of Carter and Lauren. In 2016 they already welcomed son Odin. Earlier, the singer’s wife had a miscarriage after a six-month pregnancy.
