Variety reports this Monday. It will be a series of eight parts, which will be produced by channel ‘CBS’. Tiger King tells the story of two opposites: Joe Exotic, the very eccentric owner of a thriving wildlife park, and Carole Baskin, founder of animal rights club Big Cat Rescue. Slowly but surely, director Eric Goode brings the viewer puzzle pieces that lead to a violent denouement. The series announced on Monday will focus on the life of Joe Exotic and his rise and fall. It is not the first acted series to be developed about one of the characters from Tiger King. Comedian Kate McKinnon is working on a series about the life of Carole Baskin and her long struggle against Joe Exotic.
