Life No further action against Britney Spears in the housekeeper assault Posted on September 2, 2021 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ The district attorney of Ventura County has announced no further action against Britney Spears after she was accused by a housekeeper of assaulting her. There would be too little evidence, and in addition, the housekeeper would not have any demonstrable injuries or damage to her phone, as the woman claimed. Britney’s attorney Mathew Rosengart responded to the ruling. “As I said before, this was nothing more or less than a sensation story that has been completely taken out of context. We are dealing here with a classic story, which would never have gotten so much attention in the first place if there was no fame like Britney involved.” He continues: “anyone can accuse someone else of something, but this went far too far and we are grateful that the public prosecutor made the right decision. Unfortunately, the media still seem to have learned nothing from the past in which Mrs Spears was often dragged through the mud for nothing. We hope they treat her with more respect.” The housekeeper would have gotten into a heated discussion with the singer about her dogs, after which Britney would have grabbed the woman’s phone. The woman called the police and later filed a complaint against Spears. She believed that the pop star neglects her dogs, which, according to lawyer Rosengart, is not the case. The four-legged friends are now back home with the singer.
