Life Norwegian princess Mette-Marit also had contact with Epstein Posted on December 4, 2019 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ All arrows are currently aimed at British prince Andrew (59), who is under fire because of his contacts with the late abuse billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. Now it appears that another royal also had ties with Epstein, namely the Norwegian princess Mette-Marit (46). “I should have checked that and I regret that I didn’t do that” The court confirms this in a statement to the Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv. Mette-Marit, the wife of Crown Prince Haakon, claims to have had no idea of Epstein’s past. Mette-Marit and Epstein met several times between 2011 and 2013. None of those encounters were private. Other people were always present. Regarding the encounters, the crown princess says the following: “I would never have had anything to do with Epstein if I had known about the seriousness of his criminal past. I should have checked that out and I regret that I didn’t do that.” In addition, the crown princess indicates that she sympathizes with all the victims made by Epstein. Epstein robbed himself of his life in a cell in New York this year. He was a suspect in a case about human trafficking and sexual abuse of underage girls. The British prince Andrew and Epstein have been associated for years. Epstein is said to have instructed women to have sex with powerful men in his network, including Prince Andrew.
