Life Paul McCartney “confirms” Glastonbury show with cryptic tweet Posted on November 19, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ The jubilee edition of the iconic Glastonbury festival could be extra festive next year thanks to a performance by Sir Paul McCartney. The former Beatle posted a cryptic tweet on Monday in which he appears to confirm his participation in the festival. Paul McCartney only tweeted a photo with portraits of three people: composer and pianist Philip Glass, actress Emma Stone and rock musician Chuck Berry. When you read the last names of the three in quick succession, it sounds like Glastonbury. If the 77-year-old rocker actually performs at the iconic festival in 2020, he will at least be joined by Diana Ross. She was previously announced as a closing party. The 50th edition of Glastonbury will traditionally take place next year from 24 to 28 June in the small village of Pilton, a few kilometers from Glastonbury. All tickets for the festival were sold out within half an hour.
