The corona crisis has no impact on the filming of the fourth season of ‘The Crown’. In fact, they finished filming earlier than expected. Entertainment Weekly reports this on Thursday.

Although other series and films are delayed by the corona virus, the fourth series of the popular Netflix series was already largely recorded. Production continued smoothly and was finished days earlier than planned. It has not yet been announced when The Crown 4 will appear on the streaming service, but insiders say it will be around November or December this year.

In the fourth series, Olivia Coleman takes the role of Queen Elizabeth for the second time. Tobias Menzies (Prince Philip), Helena Bonham Carter (Princess Margaret) and Josh O’Connor (Prince Charles) will also return.

It was recently announced that The Crown is retiring after the fifth season. Then Imelda Staunton plays the role of the Queen.
