What should have been a spontaneous and pleasant reunion, however, ended in a flop. Paltrow didn’t recognize Stan anymore. Gwyneth Paltrow (46) apparently struggles with holes in her Marvel career. Last month, a fragment went viral in which the actress had completely forgotten that her character Pepper Potts could be seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming and now it is hit again. Paltrow had no idea who Sebastian Stan (36), who can be seen as Bucky Barnes in the films, was when she met him last Wednesday during the Valentino Couture Show in Paris. “I like it that I was able to introduce myself to Gwyneth Paltrow for the third time,” he writes on an Instagram photo showing him together with, among others, the Goop entrepreneur. “We can be seen together in a movie,” he notes. Stan and Paltrow were both featured in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, although they did not share scenes together. Yet it remains somewhat strange that Paltrow does not recognize such a familiar face.
