Shakira celebrates best birthday of her life

Shakira will not forget her 43rd birthday soon. Together with Jennifer Lopez, she was responsible for the Super Bowl half-time show and that was ‘the best birthday present’, she tweeted afterwards.

The singer immediately took the opportunity to thank her fans and her team. Her last word of thanks went to Jennifer. “Thank you for this evening when we were able to show how much Latinos have to offer!”

Jennifer also thanked her team on social media. “Thanks for the most epic halftime I could ever have imagined,” said the singer, who, among other things, picked up her 11-year-old daughter Emme on stage during the show.

Shakira and Jennifer, accompanied by many dancers and lots of fireworks, both sang their biggest hits. The 14-minute show was highly praised by social media afterwards.
