The Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (WBF) said it had noted that the EU had extended sanctions to a further 11 people and four organizations in connection with Amini’s murder and the response to the demonstrations. “The department is currently looking at further steps,” the WBF said in a statement to Reuters.
