Tarantino’s ‘Star Trek’ is Pulp Fiction in space

Whether Quentin Tarantino makes his latest film from his plans for Star Trek or not, it is interesting anyway. In an interview, the director explains what he thinks and what his plans are. The intention is to combine Pulp Fiction with the franchise.

Tarantino told Deadline that Paramount Pictures is completely open to giving the franchise a new direction. The formula is no longer fully maintained and instead one is open to a fresh direction and that offers perspective.

Tarantino is a big fan of Star Trek. In fact, he likes this franchise more than the Star Wars movies. So much so that he finds it annoying that some people, such as J.J. Abrams and Simon Pegg interfere with the franchise.
