Taylor Swift donates a million dollars for emergency aid after tornado

Taylor Swift has gone deep in the pouch to contribute financially to the relief after the deadly tornadoes in the American city of Nashville in the state of Tennessee. “Nashville is my home and the fact that so many people have lost their homes and so much more in Tennessee is terrible,” she writes on Instagram Stories.

She writes to have deposited money into the account of the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund and calls on her fans to follow her example. According to American media, including E! News and TMZ, the singer herself has donated 1 million. She already donated $ 500,000 in 2010 after a major flood.

In Nashville and the Tennessee region, tornadoes caused havoc on Tuesday. At least 24 people were killed, people are still missing. About forty homes and other buildings also went down, just like electricity pylons.
