During the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, director James Cameron (65) was present to reveal the first images of the second part of the film series to the fans. “I am a nerd when it comes to cars, planes, weapons and other things” Avatar came out in 2009 and since then the fans of the blue men are eagerly awaiting the sequel. The long-awaited second part seems to be finally coming and director James Cameron has shared the very first snapshots. Unfortunately, it only seems to be about concept images, but it is impressive. Moreover, there will be a lot of technological gadgets in Avatar 2. “I’m a nerd when it comes to cars, planes, weapons and other things,” said director James. The reason the images were revealed during the electronics fair is because Mercedes Benz has developed a car that is inspired by the film, namely the Vision AVTR. “I was in the car in front of the control panel and the interface just feels like it’s alive and breathing. It looks organic,” James said. No matter how impressive the vehicle is, the car will never appear on the highway. It is only a concept car.
