In an interview with the French newspaper Journal du Dimanche, Brad Pitt was asked what he thought about Donald Trump possibly imposing certain rates for importing French wine into America. Pitt, who owns the successful Miraval winery in France, together with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, found it difficult to respond. “I don’t know enough about it yet, but I do know that Trump is a danger in many other areas.”

“I think we will continue to drink French wine in America regardless of a higher rate imposed. But there are far more important issues than that and Trump plays a dangerous role in that,” said Brad, who normally does not often comment on the US president.

Pitt and Jolie bought the vineyard in France in 2011 and married there in 2014 in the presence of their children. The first 6,000 bottles of their rosé wine in 2012 were sold out within 5 hours. The wine also won various prizes. Despite the break in 2016, the two decided to keep their winery together and this year even released a new rosé, Studio by Miraval.
