In the city of Lausanne, many people took to the streets to commemorate the Paris massacre. At the opening meeting, candles were lit in memory of the murdered.

Hatice Kandal said on behalf of the Lajîn women’s Council:

“the Kurdish people know this genocidal policy very well. We demand accountability for the 2013 massacre and also for the December 23 massacre. We will not allow the cover-up efforts of the French state. We, Kurdish women and Kurdish people, will not leave the streets.”

The women’s Council calls for a European demonstration on January 7, 2023 in Paris.
