British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has plans to introduce full customs and border controls for goods from the European Union to Great Britain. That writes the English newspaper Daily Telegraph.

The reason for this intention, according to the newspaper, is that Great Britain wants to increase the pressure on Europe in the talks about trade agreements between the EU and the British after final settlement of Brexit.

“We plan to fully control all EU imports – export declarations, safety declarations, animal health checks and all supermarket goods to go through border inspection posts,” said a high-ranking government source in the newspaper.
