Kenes Rakishev, a prominent and successful entrepreneur from Kazakhstan gave start to a highly popular “Build Your Business” contest. This annual contest, curated by Kenes Rakishev, Aselle Tasmagambetova, other well-known Kazakhstani entrepreneurs and socialites, is held since 2013. It plays an important role in promoting entrepreneurship among young Kazakhstanis. The ease of entrance and substantial prizes attract those who want to develop their own business.

“Build Your Business” is one of the projects of Saby foundation, the oldest private charity fund of Kazakhstan. The goal of the contest is to facilitate young people to build and develop their own companies – particularly SMEs. Since the inception of the contest, sixty projects got their much desired funds, recognition and advice. Kenes Rakishev and Aselle Tasmagambetova, their friends and partners view the contest as a main event of the year for thousands of young businessmen who strive to succeed at the national market.

Since the contest launched in 2013, we have backed 60 pioneering projects from across Kazakhstan – equipping the entrepreneurs with the networks, skills and financial support to elevate their businesses to new heights.
