Google states on the website that, “although Hire is successful”, it has to focus on other products in the Google Cloud Portfolio. The service has been developed to make it easier to recruit new employees by, among other things, integrating the search for candidates and scheduling job interviews with other Google services, such as Gmail and the agenda. Google Hire users can continue to use the service until September 2020, but Google is no longer releasing any updates. However, it will continue to offer support and customers will no longer have to pay for the service for the remainder of the period.
