This is apparent Saturday from current data collected by Johns Hopkins CSSE. Today, the total number of infections in India was over 29.8 million. The number of deaths is 385,137. In the United States, most Covid-19 cases are still registered, with today more than 33.5 million. The number of deaths is 601,571. Brazil remains the third country worldwide in terms of infections, with now 17.8 million cases and more than 498.00 deaths. In Western Europe, France has the highest number of infections with a number of 5.8 million. The United Kingdom has more than 4.6 million cases. Italy has almost 4.25 million infections, Spain at 3.75 million and Germany at 3.73 million. In China, the first country to report coronavirus cases at the end of 2019, 103,501 cases have now been recorded. That was 103,467 on Friday. According to Johns Hopkins data, more than 3.85 million people worldwide have died from the virus. More than 2.5 billion people have been vaccinated.
