The winners and prize-winners of the Asian Boxing Championship 2022 were awarded a monetary reward from the President of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation Kenes Rakishev.

On November 29, 2022, in Almaty, according to the already established tradition, a press conference and a solemn celebration of the winners and prize-winners of the Asian Boxing Championship among men and women in Amman, Jordan took place. The medalists received cash certificates and iPhone PRO phones from the personal funds of the President of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation Kenes Rakishev.

Kenes Rakishev KBF

The team members who contributed to the successful result were not left without attention: the coaching staff, personal trainers and representatives of the integrated scientific group of boxers. In total, about 50 people!

The award ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation, headed by its President Kenes Rakishev.

Thus, the Asian champions received certificates from the President of the CFB in the amount of 5 million tenge each;

  • Alua Balkibekova (48 kg),
  • Zhaina Shekerbekova (54 kg)
  • Karina Ibragimova (57 kg),
  • Sanzhar Tashkent Bay (48 kg),
  • Aslanbek Shymbergenov (71 kg),
  • Aibek Oralbai (-92 kg).

The silver medalists of the CHA were awarded 2 million each;

  • Gulsaya Yerzhan (81 kg),
  • Saken Bibosynov (51 kg),
  • Mahmud Sabyrkhan (54 kg),
  • Serik Temirzhanov (57 kg),
  • Dulat Bekbauov (67 kg),
  • Nurkanat Rayys (75 kg),
  • Kamshybek Kunkabayev (+92kg).

The bronze medalists of the Asian Championship in Amman were awarded 1 million tenge each;

  • Nazym Kyzaybay (50 kg),
  • Zhazira Orakbayeva (52 kg),
  • Madina Nurshayeva (66 kg),
  • Dariga Shakimova (70 kg),
  • Lazzat Kungeibayeva (+81kg),
  • Samatali Toltaev (60 kg),
  • Nurbek Oralbai (80 kg),
  • Sagyndyk Togambay (86 kg).

Also, the coaching staffs headed by Kairat Satzhanov and Shamil Safiullin received their certificates. They were entitled to 1.5 million tenge each. Representatives of the coaching staff and personal trainers of prize-winning boxers received 1 million tenge each. Moreover, the specialists of the integrated scientific groups of the national teams were also awarded with monetary certificates.

“Today we have moved away from the traditional format of our award ceremonies. I personally saw the finals with the participation of our boxers in Amman and these fights made me think – what is missing for Kazakhstani boxers at the most important moment? In the battle for gold medals, when it remains to take only half a step to the highest step of the podium, for some reason our “stop”. In order to work with their psychology, raise their self-esteem even higher and believe in themselves, I specially invited Radislav Gandapas, the most famous coach and motivator of the CIS, from Moscow. Our work with athletes on this will definitely continue, ahead of the World Cup in Uzbekistan and the Asian Games in China,” Kenes Rakishev said.

It is worth noting that the International Boxing Association (IBA) has already announced that at the World Cup in Tashkent-2023, the winners will receive 200 thousand US dollars each. As part of the award ceremony, Kenes Rakishev also made a statement – in addition to the prize money from the IBA, the winning boxers of the NSC will receive 100 thousand US dollars from his personal funds following the results of the fights in the capital of Uzbekistan.

Returning to the topic of motivation of certified coach and author of the workshop “Declare yourself” Radislav Gandapas, his workshop for masters of leather gloves made a great impression. The parties agreed for the future that this is not the last work of the Gandapas for Kazakhstani boxers. All these steps from the President of the CFB, of course, should bear fruit for our athletes.

Almost immediately after awarding the winners and prize-winners of the Asian Championship, the men’s Boxing Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan starts in Pavlodar. It should be noted that due to the late dates of the continental competitions in Amman, the above-mentioned prize-winners and champions will not perform at the republican competitions. Of the entire main squad in Pavlodar, only Sanatali Toltaev will box in the Olympic weight up to 63.5 kg.

Several days ago the Saby Charitable Foundation, represented by its founders Aselle Tasmagambetova and Kenes Rakishev, presented the children of Semey with a modern robotics class equipped with the latest technology. The class will operate free of charge on the basis of the Palace of Creativity of Children and Youth. The event was attended by the governor of the Abay region Nurlan Urankhaev. This is the third robotics laboratory donated by the foundation to Kazakhstanis. They are built and equipped by Kenes Rakishev and Aselle Tasmagambetova in Almaty and Petropavlovsk too.

A robotics centre has opened in Semey, which schoolchildren will be able to attend for free. The governor of the Abai region Nurlan Urankhayev and founders of the Saby Foundation Assel Tasmagambetova and Kenes Rakishev.

Kenes Rakishev and Aselle Tasmagambetova support the growth and development of Kazakhstani youth in many of their initiatives. One of such initiatives is equipping the robotics classes to attract kids to real technology skills. Those skills without a doubt will be in high demand in the nearest future.

The new classroom, as well as in Almaty and Petropavlovsk, is equipped with a touchscreen computer “Activepanel AP 75”, a robotic kit for creating radio-controlled models, a 3D printer “CREATOR Pro” for casting models, football fields and infrared balls for robots to play football.

The head of the region noted the importance of involving children in new technologies.

“Thanks to such support from patrons, many children have the opportunity to gain knowledge in the scientific and technical sphere, the innovation industry. The opening of a new digital centre in Semey is relevant and timely for the children of our region, because robotics is one of the most promising areas of the future. We are happy and ready to cooperate on all projects that help children gain new knowledge and realize their potential,” the governor said.

President of the Saby Foundation Aselle Tasmagambetova explained that the decision to scale the centres at the national level was not accidental.

“According to market research, the global robotics market will grow by 22.8% annually and is expected to reach $214.68 billion dollars by 2030. The Saby Foundation has been implementing charitable projects in regional cities of Kazakhstan for more than 20 years, and we see how many gifted children and talented teachers we have. This gives us reason to believe that Robotics Centers will be in demand, and the project will have a good result,” Aselle Tasmagambetova expressed her hope.

The total area of the centre in Semey is 75 sq. m. The project cost amounted to 26.3 million tenge.

In Almaty, such a centre is organized on the basis of gymnasium No. 174, in Petropavlovsk it operates in secondary school No. 7, in Semey – in the Youth Palace.

It is planned that in the near future Robotics centres will appear in all cities of Kazakhstan.

Kenes Rakishev sees a huge potential in opening and developing small and medium businesses in Kazakhstan. He reasonably suggests the spirit of entrepreneurship as an important driver of social development and stability. Kenes Rakishev, Aselle Tasmagambetova and their friends invented the contest many years ago. Ever since the event attract many young and ambitious men and woman.

The Saby Charitable Foundation announces the launch of the VIII annual competition to support young Kazakhstani entrepreneurs “Build your business”. The competition is held under the leadership of the President of the Sabi Foundation Aselle Tasmagambetova, with the support of well–known Kazakhstani businessmen and patrons – Kenes Rakishev and Vyacheslav Kim. Educational and mentoring support is provided by permanent partners: the British audit and consulting company Ernst&Young and the multinational company Microsoft.

According to Kenes Rakishev, this is a unique competition that gives free grants from $10,000 to $100,000 to young businessmen all over Kazakhstan, helping them to launch and develop their business. Over the previous seven years of the competition, the Saby Foundation and patrons have provided 60 grants to aspiring entrepreneurs for a total of $1,580,000.

Kenes Rakishev pays much attention to the contest. Being a prominent national and international entrepreneur himself he sees the mission of the event as promoting the creative values among his compatriots. Kenes Rakishev is really proud of the contestants.

To date, with the support of the fund, projects are being implemented in various sectors of small and medium-sized businesses in various regions of Kazakhstan. “The winners receive grants completely free of charge, we do not take any interest from them, we do not take part of the business. Our only desire is to help young aspiring entrepreneurs get on their feet and take their first steps in business. Our assistance is multi-vector in nature, because, in addition to financial support, most of the finalist projects receive their first orders for products and services, marketing support, preferential rent, and so on from the fund. For our part, we will make every effort to ensure that the “Build Your Business” contest continues its development and, in partnership with the largest representatives of the business community, plays the role of a kind of social elevator for the youth of our country,” Aselle Tasmagambetova added.

To participate in “Build your business”, you should:

  1. shoot a minute-long video about your project
  2. publish it on social networks
